At Errant Odyssey, we look beyond the obvious to find places and experiences that reward curiosity rather than simply ticking off attractions. Our journeys can take you to unusual landscapes, ancient places, forgotten villages and local experiences, as well as retreats and adventures that offer a different way to experience a destination.
Our story began in Peru, where our journeys included the Inca Trail. Today, we are taking Errant Odyssey beyond Peru, discovering new destinations and creating experiences for people who want to see somewhere differently.

How We Create Our Trips
A great trip is about more than choosing a destination. The places you visit, where you stay, how you get there, the people you meet and the experiences along the way all need to work together.
At Errant Odyssey, we carefully select the journeys and experiences we want to offer and work with experienced local partners in each destination. GEORGIA TRIP 2027
Our next destination is Georgia, a country of extraordinary landscapes, ancient places, distinctive traditions and warm hospitality. Trips We Have Organised
Planning a trek for yourself is one thing. Organising a complete trip for a group is something else entirely.We organised two groups from the UK for the Inca Trail, taking care of the arrangements from beginning to end.Group of 16 Travellers from the UKWe organised an Inca Trail journey for a group of 16 people travelling from the UK. From their arrival in Peru to their time in Cusco and the trek itself, we coordinated the practical arrangements and worked with trusted local partners throughout the trip.
The experience included visits to ancient sites, a Cusco City Tour and a Peruvian cooking class, alongside the Inca Trail itself.Group of 4 Travellers from the UKWe also organised an Inca Trail experience for a smaller group of four travellers from the UK. Their trip included accommodation, transport, trekking arrangements, a Cusco City Tour and visits to ancient sites, allowing them to combine the trek with time to explore the history and culture of Peru.More Than the TrekThese trips reflect the way we approach travel at Errant Odyssey. The main adventure may be a trek, but the experience does not have to end when the walking stops. We look for ways to bring together the landscape, history, culture, food and people of a destination to create a more complete experience.You choose the adventure. We bring the experience together.
About Errant Odyssey
Errant Odyssey was created from a love of exploring the world and a desire to create trips that combine interesting places with memorable experiences along the way.
The business is led by Rob Langdon and his wife, who are travellers themselves and have explored extensively across South America and Europe. Rob has also travelled to New Zealand and North America. Those experiences have shaped the way they look at travel. They are drawn to places that offer something beyond the obvious sights, whether that is an unusual landscape, an ancient site, a local tradition or simply an experience that gives you a different way of seeing a destination.
Rob has also spent several years organising trekking trips for travellers. His experience began in Peru, where he organised successful group trips including the Inca Trail. Working with experienced local trekking companies taught him how important it is to combine a great route with reliable local knowledge, good organisation and attention to the practical details.
Every trip we create is something we would want to experience ourselves, and we look for the right combination of places, activities, accommodation and local people to make it work. We care about the details because we know from our own travels how much they can affect the experience of a trip.
